Terrace 2006

Yay for holidays! I took an extra long weekend this past weekend and made my way to Terrace with Jeremy, Tiff & Dave. It was a fun (but long) trip there and the heat was barely tolerable. We arrived in Terrace about 3pm on Friday June 30th
And went to the mall for a bit with my Auntie Moe. Once we were done that, we made our way back to her house for dinner where we joined my cousin Ruth & her husband Mark, as well as my Uncle Mike and my soon to be cousin in law Ryan. It was so awesome to see them all. = )

On Saturday (July 1st) we decided to head to the mall again for a little while waiting for Auntie Moe to finish some work she had to do. From there we went to the farmers market & had some yummy phillipino food. The weather was so warm that from there we went out to the lake, where it was totally gorgeous. Ruth took some pregnant photos of me, which I’ll post once I see them. Saturday night we went out for dinner at Mr. Mikes for Chris’s Birthday, yummy food and crazy people = good times.

Sunday we went to church and had some good God time. Uncle Mike (who is also the pastor) shared a good word on how men need to make their way to manhood. From there we went to Boston Pizza (once again eating) and a big group ended up coming. We took all sorts of interesting pictures to amuse ourselves while we waited for our food. The one picture Ruth took made me laugh so hard I nearly peed myself, I was literally crying from laughing so hard, everyone was looking at me like I had lost my mind.

Later that afternoon we went out to another beach and sat in the water for a few hours trying to stay cool. It was very relaxing and fun too. That night we went back to Auntie Moe’s for a homemade Tai meal. It was really fancy and very tasty too. She had the table done up all fancy for us as well. Auntie Moe is the bomb!

Monday we did a bit of shopping downtown in the few shops that were open and then went to Denny’s for lunch, packed up and said our goodbyes. Time flies when you’re having fun, but hopefully we get to do it again sometime soon.
Well, I’m out now, and for those of you who know what I’m talking about….Ice Cold Lemonade anyone? It’s ice cold….
