Well my parents just got back from a week at DisneyWorld in Florida! They went there for their 25th wedding anniversary. As nice as it was to have the house to ourselves, it's nice that they're back!! And boy did they spoil Jacob....

Jacob updates

I'm sure I mentioned that Jacob is sitting up...well I think so anyways...haha

Anyways, he got to play outside for the first time the other day and I thought I would share a picture. = )



He also got to try avacodo, and quite enjoyed it...



He's such a happy little boy (except when his teeth hurt..)

6 Months Old!

Long Overdue

Well well, as I was reading over other people's blogs I realized that I was LONG overdue for an update.

For those of you who didn't know we sold our house and are currently living with our parents...not our own space, but better than nothing!! We are looking for a new place but it could be awhile still (hopefully not too long..)

Jacob is now 6 1/2 months old, 20.75 lbs and 29 inches tall. He gets more fun everyday, although lately has been a bit of a challenge as he doesn't take to teething too well...

Anyways, I'm sure what you really are reading for is pictures, so here some are!!

Heavy Weight!

Jacob was born a big boy at 9lbs, 13oz, but now he's just under 4 weeks old and is up to 12lbs, 3oz!! Most babies gain 3 to 4 oz a week, and little (not so little) Jacob has gained about a pound every week!!

Baby Shower

Jacob's baby shower was last night, Thursday the 19th. I can't believe he's already 3 weeks old...

The shower went well, Jacob slept through the whole thing even when his Grandmas and Aunties passed him to each other..

We ended up getting so many baby gift bags, I didn't know what to do with them...so I took pictures!! (Yea, yea, really cool, I know...)




Oh! I got a nifty little carseat cover handmade by Ashley. It took her 6 hours to make, and it works great! I just had to take a picture of it right away...lol

First Church Service

I was terrified about bringing Jacob to church, as I didn't want him getting mobbed, and what if he got hungry!?

Un-needed stress, we got Jacob to church and kept him with us the whole time and luckily we arrived a few minutes late so we managed to slip in pretty much un-noticed. = D



He also stayed sleeping the whole service, which made it nice as well..


Jacob also got to meet baby Moriah, Moses and Mitra's brand new little girl..

First Bath!

Grandma came over and helped me give Jacob his first bath which went amazingly well. He seemed to enjoy it!
